The Killers - “From Here on Out”
I’m a bit torn over this new release, Battle Born. After a couple of listens, it doesn’t seem like a bad album, just one that has too many similar songs that bleed into one another. It could be that uploading the album from the disc got the song order mixed up and that I’m actually not listening to the thing correctly, but I think that Brandon Flowers wrote an entire album based on the first single “Runaways”.
EXCEPT for this song, which is my favorite off the album as the country-tinge and backup vocals sounds almost Tom Petty-ish.
