Even though I’ve met several of my Tumblr followers in real life, there are very few of them who I would consider to be actual friends of mine.  Beyond that, there’s another tier that’s reserved for the ones that are truly special to me, ones that have either helped me immensely in my own personal life or served as a catalyst for myself becoming a better human being. 

Today, I opened up a secret gift from a person that fits all of the aforementioned descriptors perfectly.  To my surprise, I was sent a copy of No Regrets by Ace Frehley one full week before its national release from the absolutely incredible Natface.  The handwritten note found hidden inside the book’s cover not only reminded me of her penchant for perfection but also sparked my recollection of her repeated joking of wanting absolute adulation from everyone around her (which is what this blag post is). Her note:

“Hi Bryan,

I thought you would enjoy this! You have it before the rest of the world does. So remember, with great power comes great responsibility.  Also, I now expect to be worshipped.

Begin construction of my shrine.

Even though we rarely see each other, there will always be a part of me that loves the shit out of this girl for everything she’s done for me.  Thank you so much, Natasha.
