Billy Currington - Pretty Good At Drinkin’ Beer
During this weekend’s roadtrip, I made sure to scan the FM radio frequencies of Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri just to hear what was being played. During the thirteen hours, I must of encountered this particular white-trash anthem at least a dozen times and found out that this is the number one country song in Amurrika right now.
“I wasn’t born for deeping deep holes
I’m not made for paving long roads
I ain’t cut out to climb high-line poles
But — I’m pretty good at drinking beerI’m not the type to work in the bank
I’m no good at slapping on paint
Don’t have the knack to make the motors crank
But — I’m pretty good at drinking beerSo, hand me one more, that’s what I’m here for
I’m built for having a ball
I love the night life, I love my Bud Light
I like them cold and tall”
I love some pretty dumb music myself, but goddammit! Really?? This?!
*vomits furiously*
Pop country blows dogs for quarters.
