KISS with the Cadillac, Michigan High School Cheerleaders in 1975
A great rock n’ roll story that has numerous bizarre pictures that document it’s existence. In 1975, there was a small town in Michigan who had a lousy football team. The coach had recently seen KISS perform live and started to use their music as a way to pump up his players. For whatever reasons, this worked and Cadillac High School ended up having a winning season.
KISS catches wind of this story and are so impressed that they decide to show up and play at the Cadillac Homecoming Dance. At this point, KISS weren’t exactly the superstars that they would eventually become, but the town didn’t care. They proclaimed it KISS Day and held a gigantic parade for the painted rockers from New York.
KISS were welcomed in the small town with open arms (and open legs, one assumes).
